Leading cast stone manufacturer Pennine Stone has reason to celebrate after being named Supplier of the Year by major house builder Persimmon Homes. This is the first time Persimmon has recognised a supplier in this way.

Pennine Stone has also secured the exclusive contract to supply Persimmon with all their semi dry cast stone components until December 2008. This contract involves the supply of Pennine’s TecCast product, which is the only cast stone process to achieve the prestigious BBA accreditation.  Pennine Stone’s extensive collection of TecCast components ranges from window heads and cills to copings, strings and porticos.

This award by one of the UK’s largest house builders underlines Pennine’s commitment to service. Success, like everything in this business, relies on building good relationships, and technical account manager Denise Jones has worked hard to achieve this. The award was presented by Persimmon group development director David Bryant.
